I would be surprised to learn that there is a single human being who’s had the opportunity to look back on the Earth from space who had any other reaction than that of American astronaut Edgar Mitchell (at left).

This planet is the home of eight billion people, most of whom are simply trying to live their lives in peace.  Is there some reason that we can’t make this happen?
