Sometimes, you want to speak to someone one on one. And here’s a secret – we love a chat. That’s why we’ve got loads of energy specialists ready to help when you give us a call.
It’s not just about existing customers though. We use the phone to connect with new ones too. This helps us to meet people where they’re at. We identify businesses we think could benefit from Octopus, and let them know what we can offer.
Not all energy suppliers and industry bodies are as keen on this as we are. But, we do it in a way that supports and protects the people we speak to.

We have in-person energy helpers across the country. You can find them in town centres, shops and going door-to-door. They tell businesses what Octopus is all about. They help existing customers with their accounts.
This all began after Lockdown. We wanted to reconnect with business owners in-person. It went really well – so we kept doing it. Now, our energy helpers are in 6 towns and cities. They’ve helped 1000s of businesses to join us.
On top of that, we’re always popping out to business events. They give us a chance to speak to businesses that we might not come across otherwise. That means we can hear from all sorts of new people. It’s a great way to learn about a diverse range of energy experiences.
